Everyone has been doing it. Whether on Wow or Icelandair, people are flocking to Iceland. In fact, in the last year they had more than four times as many visitors as inhabitants. And once you’re there you can tell exactly why.

A Romp Around Ireland
Well, hello. It’s been a while. My adjustment to proper adulting has been a difficult one.
Conversely and in good news, despite the drag of the 9 to 5 (well, 8:30 to 5), I managed to escape to Ireland. And even squeezed in a 40 hour visit to London, during which time I managed to see 13 friends…individually. Talk about exhausting, eh?
Pristina, Kosovo: Updated
Pristina is all about its restaurants and bars – as, sadly to admit, there isn’t too much else to do in the city. Having lived in Pristina all summer I’ve got some new jems to share. Also things in this city are constantly closing and opening for this and that so an occasional update is completely necessary.
The Marvelous Madness that is Marrakech, Morocco
Morocco was always on my bucket list, but when I came across a photo of this decadent hostel (with a pool, hello) I just knew I had to go. That’s how much I love a good hostel. So, I enlisted my Euro travel buddy and after a short visit to her family in Spain we hopped on a plane to Marrakech. We paid a whopping $12 for a our flight. So…ya know, that was a stretch of the pocket book.

Enoteca Cul de Sac, Rome, Italy
Yup, this restaurant gets its own post. It is not an exaggeration or overstatement when I say that Enoteca Cul de Sac is my favourite restaurant in the world (thus far). I have specifically made trips to Rome just to eat lunch and dinner here and then carry on with my travels. I have dreams about this place. Whenever I am in Rome, I eat here every day and the people I drag with me do not mind in the slightest. Over the past eight years I have probably sent over 40 people to this restaurant, and every single one reports back that they absolutely loved it and also went multiple times over their stay in Rome.
Sarajevo (& Mostar), Bosnia and Herzegovina
This past weekend’s adventure…I barely know where to begin it was so intense, action-packed, and at times life threatening. Okay, I suppose I’ll start off by stating that Sarajevo is, without a doubt, my favourite Balkan city. It is absolutely beautiful and compared to Pristina…it’s an actual real city (though to be fair to Pristina, it was not originally built to be a capital city).

Eateries in Laguna Beach, California
I’m missing home a bit – mostly the food (veggie-friendly Kosovo cuisine is rather redundant), but also, ya know…my family and beach too so thought I’d chit chat about home. Though Laguna Beach is a tiny little town, it is chalk full of amazing spots to grab a bite or a drink. These are my more frequented spots. Continue reading “Eateries in Laguna Beach, California”
Seattle, Washington
This past weekend my mum and I popped up to Seattle for a little adventure and to see one of my first London flatmates tie the knot! Since both of us had been before, I won’t lie…we spent a good deal of the time shopping. That being said, I love me some Seattle. Here’s the low down.
